Arthur Findlay On The Edge of the Etheric   Whilst I would recommend any books by Arthur Findlay, this particular volume is, in my view a ‘must read’ for all those who are interested in the afterlife and related topics. Arthur Findlay is one the most renowned researchers in this field. The author has based this book on the mediumship of John Sloan and the subtitle ‘Survival after Death Scientifically Explained’ says it all. A worthwhile investment for anyone looking to learn more about this subject

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle The history of Spiritualism   In this fascinating historical account, Conan Doyle delivers an easy to read factual account of the background of Spiritualism. I have read many books on this subject and would always recommend this one as the top of the list.

Manfred Cassirer Medium on Trial The story of Helen Duncan and the Witchcraft Act There have been many books written about this extraordinary medium whose trial over half a century ago rocked the nation. I have read many of them and can honestly recommend this book as being the best researched, objective and detailed on the life and trial of Helen Duncan. Manfred Cassirer is a renowned researcher into the paranormal

Archie Roy The Archives of the Mind To describe this book I am going to quote the text on the cover, by Colin Wilson wrote the preface, which explains it better than any of my own words could describe. ‘I doubt whether any reasonable person could read this book and not end up totally convinced of the reality of the paranormal’.

Massino Polidoro Final Séance An account of the five year friendship that developed between Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle. This is not an educational book in terms of what it teaches about Spiritualism, but is an interesting read and at times amusing to see the different viewpoints of these two men both fascinated by the paranormal. It will not fail to capture any readers who like Houdini and have read Conan Doyle.
